In my last post,I brought up the term “money style” which has been written about by many financial experts. Some say there are four styles, others count six. I believe there are five money styles. I’ll explain them briefly here, and expand on them in future posts. I will also elaborate more in an upcoming money styles workshop. To get workshop dates and reminders, subscribe to my free email newsletter.
Frugal Freddy – Frugal Freddy is a saver, saving to secure his future to the exclusion of his current wants and needs.
Lavish Lucy – Lavish Lucy is a spender, splurging on gifts and other treats to impress her friends or to prove she’s OK even if she isn’t.
Cautious Casey – Cautious Casey lives a simple life of modesty, trying to strike a balance between overspending and obsessive saving.
Wise Wesley – Wise Wesley is a master of his money, investing it smartly and spending it as needed.
Mona Mix-it-up – Mona Mix-it-up represents a combination of money styles, sometimes splurging like Lavish Lucy, while other times being more wary like Cautious Casey.
Which style are you? Stay tuned for more clues!
